S/S 2014 Beauty trends!
Just a few, new staple products are enough to keep you on trend and looking fresh, for this Spring/Summer.
1. Lilac and Lavender.
Pastels always seem to creep back into our lives around spring time, but this year has seen hues of purple making a bold stand at the likes of Holly Fulton, PPQ and Marchesa. For those beauty daredevils go for a wash of lavender over the lids or a lavender liner cat eye (which are also doing the rounds again at the likes of Chanel and Giambattista Valli). For a more subtle nod to the trend try a lilac gloss or purple stain along with a matching pastel mani/pedi.
2. Tangerine Lips.
One of my favorite looks for this season is the bright orange, statement lip! This was seen at Rag and Bone and DKNY among many, many other. This amped up coral lip seemed to be the go to shade of lipstick for many of the fashion week makeup artists and I must admit, I am riding this bandwagon 100%!!
3. Lashes, Lashes Lashes!
Twiggy-esk, doe-eyed 60's makeup is back with big feathery lashes on both the top and bottom! Seen at both Jean-Pierre Braganza and Holly Fulton. This look will make an amazing sex-kitten, statement eye for a night out. Tip - use individual lashes for the bottom lash line, this will create a softer more wearable look.
